hey peeps..last night I had this dream which I think I shouldn't have...anyway..here are sum stuff I encounter while I was searching for my dream's meaning...

dream facts & tidbits
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. One third of our lives is spent sleeping.

2. In your lifetime, you would've spent about 6 years of it dreaming. That is more than 2,100 days spent in a different world.

3. Dreams have been here as long as mankind. Back in the Roman Era, striking and significant dreams were submitted to the Senate for analysis and interpretation.

4. Everybody dreams. EVERYBODY! Simply because you do not remember your dream does not mean that you did not dream.

5. Dreams are indispensable. A lack of dream activity can mean protein deficiency or a personality disorder.

6. We dream on average of one or two hours every night. And we often even have 4-7 dreams in one night.

7. Blind people do dream. Whether visual images will appear in their dream depends on whether they where blind at birth or became blind later in life. But vision is not the only sense that constitutes a dream. Sounds, tactility, and smell become hypersensitive for the blind and their dreams are based on these senses.

8. Five minutes after the end of the dream, half the content is forgotten. After ten minutes, 90% is lost.

9. The word dream stems from the Middle English word, dreme which means "joy" and "music".

10. Men tend to dream more about other men, while women dream equally about men and women.

11. Studies have shown that our brain waves are more active when we are dreaming than when we are awake.

12. Dreamers who are awakened right after REM sleep, are able to recall their dreams more vividly than those who slept through the night until morning.

13. Physiologically speaking, researchers found that during dreaming REM sleep, males experience erections and females experience increased vaginal blood flow - no matter what the content of the dream. In fact, "wet dreams" may not necessarily coincide with overtly sexual dream content.

14. People who are giving up smoking have longer and more intense dreams.

15. Toddlers do not dream about themselves. They do not appear in their own dreams until the age of 3 or 4.

16. If you are snoring, then you cannot be dreaming.

17. Nightmares are common in children, typically beginning at around age 3 and occurring up to age 7-8.

18. In a poll, 67% of Americans have experienced Deja Vu in their dreams, occurring more often in females than males.

Some facts, huh....

Hey..guess what..I'm now employed..by Spotless Services Limited as a cashier..huhu..this is my very first job..eventhough it's a casual job..I think it's kinda good to balance my study n work...hmm..yesterday there's a match at the Suncorp Stadium between Queensland team n New South Wales...it was a big match so they need more workers..that was why I get this job at the first place..the pay is alrite..$17 per hour, I think..At first I was very nervous as only leen n me wear scarfs..but Janeen(one of the employer) told us it's alrite..so we tried..and it was really fun..I worked in an outlet as a cashier..the peeps(other workers) there were very friendly and I got a very nice supervisor...even the australian around me(customers) treated me wonderfully..considering I'm a muslim..hmm..I started my shift at 6 and finished at 9.30...after that it's just the cleaning stuff to do..make few new friends such as Davina, Catherine, Wok(can't remember her full name), lisa(my supervisor), n some other girls which I never ask their names..hihi..=P..then at 10.30 me n leen went back home n have our late dinner together...as for today..we (M'sian) try to figure out what we should perform on international nite which will be hel on this thursday..we come out with a dikir barat idea..which was pretty impressive..considering CP make us come out with a performance in 45 minutes n rehearse the stuff in the dining hall...anyway..we gonna need more practice..till then..chiow..

woorr...it's been like ages ago since I last update my blog...huhu..sorry about that peeps..actually lots of thing happened during the week...lemme tell ya the details...hmm..where should I start..ok..here it goes..last week I've been struggling with lotsa thing...
firstly..we(me n fazz) finished our japanese skit presentation on last thursday..it was really a relief..i think everybody in my group did a very excellent job...I really enjoy my time working with u guys... fazz..melwin..n faiez..Thanx...
then..my mid semester econ2300 (introductory to econometrics)..it was a take-home-exam paper which was not due until next 48 hours after it commenced(28/4-30/4)..eventhough it looks like I have a lot of time to finish the test as it only consists of 3 main questions with at least 5 sub questions, trust me..it's not..at first, me myself thought that it can be done for like a day only as the lecturer said that it can be done for like 3 hours only..so..I started working on my mid semester paper only 16 hours before the paper was due to submit...but guess what..I have to stay at the computer lab(as the course is a computer-based mathematical economics) for half of the nite...(missed a meeting with the MSD person)...went back home at nearly 2 in the morning..n I didn't sleep to get the thingy all typed up..to make thing worse..on that morning(which I supposed to submit the paper before 10 o'clock)..at 9, I went to the computer lab to print my stuff..I was enjoying my time to PRINT all the answer paper..until suddenly sumthing pop-up on my monitor screen..'your current printer balance is not sufficient'...what da!!!..I really don't have any money at that time n the only thing I had is my student card..I feel sick..trying to call all my friends to borrow their printer account..luckily salwa help me out with hers...thanx buddy...then I submitted my paper at may be 2-4 mins after 10..hope that's ok..hmm..what a day huh..
after that..fazz n I concentrated on buying tickets to go to new zealand...we had lotsa obstacles like..my credit card declined the transaction, only fazz got to buy the cheap airfare, the price gone higher every time we're trying to book.. but Alhamdulillah..all the things are now settled..we managed to smooth up our itenerary..we have bought return tickets from brisbane to christchurch and also domestic tickets from queenstown to auckland...this is our itenerary:-

29/6- BNE - CHR.
30/6- CHR
1/7 - CHR - DUN
2/7 - DUN
3/7 - DUN - QUEENSTOWN - WANAKA
4/7 - WANAKA
5/7 - WANAKA - QUEENSTOWN - AUCK
6/7 - AUCKLAND
7/7 - AUCK - ROTORUA
8/7 - ROTORUA
9/7 - ROTORUA-WELLY
10/7 - WELLY
11/7 - WELLY
12/7 - WELLY - PICTON - CHR
13/7 - CHR - BNE

Anyway, this is just a rough idea..where we should go n how long we should stay at one place..as we(me n fazz) do have some budget constraint...huhu..
And last but certainly not least..the meeting with the msd peeps n our beloved student advisor, mr. aziz at QUT garden point campus...the msd just want us to acknowledge their existence in australia, i think...the msd director, Tn. Hj. Musa Mansor is quite a friendly person..he even try to make a conversation with the kids there..he's funny too..after we have our free lunch which was a tupperware of brilliant kuew tiau..we had a meeting with mr. aziz...he gave us motivation.. he comment on our academic..brief us about accomodation...tell us about re-orientation...n lotsa stuff..he even remind us to help each other in a group..so..my dearest friends..lets help each other k...arait lah bebeh...it's quite long this entry..sorry about that...chiow...
